Overview
Communities that manage physical parking passes outside of Community Tech can now track whether a parking pass has already been printed.
This feature adds a Parking Pass Printed indicator to visitor keys, making it easier for admins and staff to see which physical passes have been prepared in advance for incoming guests.
When to use this feature
Use this feature when your community has a parking pass process that happens outside of Community Tech, such as writing guest information on already owned physical passes before a guest arrives.
Marking a pass as printed helps your team:
- Track which visitor parking passes have already been prepared
- Avoid generating duplicate passes
- Coordinate parking pass handoff for incoming guests
- Keep better records of physical parking pass activity
View whether a parking pass has been printed
The visitor key table now includes a Pass Printed? column.
This column shows whether the parking pass connected to a visitor key has been marked as printed.
A pass may show as:
- Yes — the parking pass has been marked as printed
- No — the parking pass has not been marked as printed
Mark a parking pass as printed
To mark a parking pass as printed:
- Go to Keys Page.
- Locate the visitor key you want to update.
- Click the visitor key to open the key details window.
- Click Update Key.
- Check Parking Pass Printed?.
- Click Update.
Once updated, the visitor key will show that the parking pass has been printed.
Unmark a parking pass as printed
If a pass was marked as printed by mistake, you can update it again.
To unmark a parking pass as printed:
- Go to Visitor Management.
- Locate the visitor key you want to update.

What happens after updating the parking pass printed status?
After the key is updated:

- The visitor key table will show the updated value in the Pass Printed? column.
- Staff can use this status to confirm whether a physical parking pass has already been prepared.
Important notes
- This feature is used for tracking only.
- Marking a parking pass as printed does not generate, print, or send a parking pass from Community Tech.
- Communities should continue using their existing physical parking pass process outside of Community Tech.
- If the status is updated by mistake, it can be changed back by opening the key and unchecking Parking Pass Printed?.
